Damsons They remind me of moles - I think it’s that velvety bloom to their skins and they make me come over all Cruella de Vil - I always wish I could skin them to make clothes out of that rich cloudy colour. Maybe I’ll have to experiment with them as a dye once I’m allowed to hop around again. Damsons also make the best gin - plummier than sloe and so delicious to curl up with as the evenings get colder.
